This game is really unique from my experience compared to other games, I really enjoy the typewriting sound whenever I interact. I was kind of confused by the instruction at first, but after reading the description, it does become enjoyable, and I'm glad you made a scoreboard at the end, definitely a joy:D!

This game is much different from any of the other text based games I played for this project. Great work on turning a text-based game into something sort of competitive!

I won't deny, I'm very confused by the game. But I will say the sound design for the game is very nice.

I was confused by the controls for my first few tries, but once I figured it out the game is very fun! I haven't seen a rhythm game executed like this before, and the background and simple text make it a pleasant experience.

I love you keep the game window really clean so people can focus on the word, I spend some time learning the rules and suddenly get into it.

Amazing stuff! I was so confused at first because I was playing with out sound... though I ended up getting hooked and playing like 10 rounds. Great job!

Love how you turned typing into a game! I like the feedback we get when typing in words, as if we are actually typing them in word by word. Also like the background and the simple font really adding to the emphasis on text and typing everything out.

This is really creative! Nice style and sound effects, the simplicity along with the vibe of the phrases was really nice. Proud to report my high score of 50,000 >:)

This text-based game really felt like a true game! I really found it fun like it was a real typewriter game after I figured out how it worked! Probably the most creative one I’ve seen so far!

I got zero at first because i enter“ space” lol .I like the idea, and wonder to know how to get high score.

I wonder how you keep track of the key presses to get points. Also, I'd like to know how the scoring works - sometimes I felt that using combinations of keys yields a higher score than simply typing them up individually.

Me too! I really enjoyed how hitting ANY key within the word being presented ends up creating the words, so the real game is in hitting the rhythm correctly. I wonder how that was timed, and I really enjoyed the mechanical complexity once the game got underway.

IF YOU'RE READING THIS I NEED YOU TO FLOP ON PURPOSE. I WISH TO RETAIN MY LEADERBOARD SPOTS.

Jokes aside, the concept is very fun and addictive. I'm interested in how you programmed the win/lose conditions, as well as what inspired you to make something more competitive/gameplay-focused than narrative-focused.

The leaderboard really is a neat implementation and does allow for a very interactive game in terms of player vs player. It may just be a solo game, but it does allow for a good group play session.

sound is a very immersive element!! the typewriter sounds were very satisfying and i liked to type nonsense just to hear it

i am a competitive person, so I have two scores on there haha. Trying to beat my own self. I wasn’t able to get that far in, but I noticed the better I do, the more levels I am able to complete, so I wonder how many different typing levels there are?

I noticed the words typed out before I typed them, and it was a little difficult to know when I typed. I'd love to see the concept more fleshed out, and maybe more of an indicator to show that the player has typed the words?

The scoreboard is really cool! but it no longer shows my highest score :(

This was a super creative concept! Being able to see the leaderboard at the end really brings out the competitive side lol. I wonder how it was coded so the rhythm matches up with what you type?

I played a typewriter game where you match the rhythm and earn points! It’s a simple but unique concept! I want to try to get more points :D
